Black Swamp Benefit
To raise support for people with disabilities served by Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio, and for MCC, the national/international relief agency of the Mennonite Church. Care Wear Volunteers
Provides apparel, blankets and toys for premature, ill, and low birth-weight infants in hospital NICUs around the country. Each hospital needs a different assortment of items. Children in Common
Provides handknit socks, sweaters, vests, mittens, and other knitted objects to children in orphanages in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Also provides gifts of knitting materials and tools to the orphans. Need vests, sweaters, socks and small stuffed knit bears and dolls (4 to 7 inches). Clothing sizes most needed are for toddlers and kids up to age 6, but we accept clothing sized for children 6 months old to age 16. Health Care for the Homeless Medical Respite Unit

Ships Project for Troop Support
Provides a touch of home to those deployed in military operations aboard. We try to warm the body as well as the heart and soul. Needs: Handknitted or machine-knitted slippers, socks, hats, especially for men. College and professional team colors or solid colors are great choices, or black or camouflage colors for the ground forces. Items may be made using any yarn, including that spun by the knitter/crocheter, but items needing to be hand-washed should be tagged as such so the recipients can provide proper care.

Texas Moms of Tiny Angels
Makes and provides grief packets to give to parents that suffer the loss of a child though miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death. Threads of Compassion
Thread of Compassion is a loosely connected group of survivors of sexual violence who desire to offer comfort and support to recent victims.
